Competitive research, hard goods design (watches) and manufacturing.
The best way to describe what I do on a professional level is: ARTICULATE, CONCEIVE and DELIVER.
As the former Head Of Design of Longines Watch Co., I love to ARTICULATE the mechanisms that drive the interaction between manufacturers, brands and consumers of timepieces. I answer questions on the watch industry, the new challenges that it is facing and its intersection with consumer electronics for an average 100,000 monthly viewer of on Quora.com and consolidate this material on TRENDS·WATCH.
For individuals or organisations who need information to grow a watch brand, I publish advice and best practice recommendations on Timeless by Design Europe and Patreon. This material is designed to help entrepreneurs to CONCEIVE their brand and help established companies to grow their product portfolio. With 16 years under my belt as a hard goods industrial designer (mainly timepieces), I worked on more than 15 commercial watch brands and I gained valuable insight in helping companies to design compelling and cost optimized hard goods: timepieces, fashion accessories and visual merchandising.
I also work with year-long manufacturing projects through NORDISK URFABRIK, where I DELIVER hard goods and help entrepreneurs to set up a tailored supply chain and an inventory for their customer service. I trained at the Geneva Watchmaking School, worked with Ericsson development methodologies, and I use Swiss standards to produce watches that can meet the Swiss Made, Made in Europe or Made in Sweden standards.
